As my chicks grow...

And as I find more time to get creative, I thought I would share some of my creations, as well as my time with others. Hopefully I will make new friendships and create lasting bonds over paper, adhesive, and embellishments. So sit back, relax, and let's share...have a cup of coffee, or tea, or in my case a Coke...lol... and let's just have a blast creating, finding new projects to make together, and gathering our supplies for future endeavors!

IDIC challenge #68

This week Robyn's Fetish is our sponsor. I love the Fall Fun digi....it just evokes such FUN feelings! Our challenge this week is Anything Goes, but as a shaped card...
I used the Nestabilities Labels die to cut out the card and background paper. I used the Fall Fun digi from Robyn's Fetish and colored it with Copics. Then I used stickles in Copper and Peeled Paint for the leaves.
I cut out the image, and cut the leaves separately. I then pop dotted all the leaves and the girl up on the card.
I used the You Can Do It from Scrappy Moms Kids Inc stamp set for the inside sentiment.
Thanks for looking!

  1. I love it! What makes the leaves shine like that? I know you said you used stickels but I don't think it is the stickels. They look like they are glass. Is that from the peeled paint? I never used that but if that is what it does I am going to have to get me some. Any ways, great job. I really love it.

  2. They really are just stickles! It is peeled paint (and that is the distressed type!) and copper. The copper is really sparkly, that is why the orange REALLY stands out! I love stickles! And, seriously, they are addictive!
